What is A.A. ?
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

More About A.A.
Is A.A. For You?
Only you can decide if you might have a problem with alcohol, or if A.A. might be for you. We who are in A.A. came because we found we couldn’t control our drinking or that we couldn’t quit entirely even when we really wanted to.
Here are some of the questions we tried to answer honestly in deciding if A.A. was for us. Answer the questions for yourself. It takes us a great deal of courage to be honest with ourselves about our drinking.
Use the chat button found in the lower right corner of your screen and chat anonymously with a local A.A. member. They will be happy to answer any questions, or just chat about what A.A. has been like for them. Or contact us on our 24-hour telephone line (918)627-2224.
